Our main entities include the Norwegian holding company, Philly Shipyard ASA – located in Oslo, Norway – and its U.S. operating subsidiary, Philly Shipyard, Inc., a leading shipbuilder in the U.S. Jones Act market that is presently pursuing a mix of new build and repair opportunities in the commercial and government sectors. Aker Capital AS, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aker ASA, is the majority shareholder in Philly Shipyard ASA.
